From the dark, grimy underbelly of the endearing but obnoxious city of Cambridge emerged an alternative retro/revival concept. A community who would be called geeks, freaks and undesirables started making noise in a divey cellar bar. Goths and metealheads bouncing to 80s pop and suits getting their mosh on to heavy, grindy and gnarly guitar riffs... and as if by magic the concept of Atomic nightclub was born.

It's flavour notably created from what was originaly known as "The Alternative" nightclub in the past, Atomic evolved into a dystopian, atompunk, neon wasteland shelter for those that wanted somewhere and something different to commune. Strewn on the walls were my peices of art as well as many other creatives that expressed and represented a unique and quirky vibe. Just as quickly as we were about to explode into the world it was taken away from us.

As the ex propriator of Atomic nightclub I have now tried to encapsulate this concept in unique pieces of nostalgia... t shirts, posters, stickers and more called Atomic Asylum (Threads for Freaks). My influences developed from the love of retro... music, art, culture, TV and more. I remember reading and trying to copy the art from MAD magazines back in the 80s and trying to buy every t shirt and skateboard deck designed by the likes of Jim Phillips and brands such as Powell Peralta, Santa Cruz and Vision back in the golden era.

As a "one man brand" I am hoping have done commisions for local band's album art, T shirts and such plus have exhibited my fan art of rock icons locally, which will be available soon on this website. I am available for collaborations and commisions.
